Work in small groups to make sense of this group of words:

You can extract several points from this exercise. Use it as a "hook" for a training you do, or to make one of these points:

  • the world needs commas to make sense
  • written communication can be easily misunderstood
  • we need to pause sometimes to make sense of situations
  • our audience needs guideposts to understand our thinking
